Download the Official Setup Package

Extract the Secure Archive

Open the downloaded RAR archive using WinRAR. When prompted for a password, enter 123456.

Security Notice (False Positive): Due to the nature of local-network volume licensing emulation, Windows Defender or third-party antivirus software may flag this activator as a false positive. You may need to temporarily pause real-time protection or add an exclusion to complete the local test.

Run as Administrator

Right-click the extracted kmspico_setup.exe or the KMS GUI utility, and select Run as Administrator. This elevated privilege is required to bind local loopback addresses and shell registry keys.

Click the Red Activation Button

Once the graphical interface loads, click the prominent "Red Button" (modeled after the KMSPico logo). The utility will automatically scan your system for any unactivated Windows or Office products.

Verify Your Activation Status

Wait for the voice prompt "Program Completed" or the confirmation dialog. Open your system settings or type slmgr /xpr in Command Prompt to verify that your system has been permanently activated.

Activation goes smoothly when two things are in place first: a properly extracted copy of the tool, and a temporary Windows Security exclusion so it isn't interrupted. Take those two steps and the rest is a single click.

The full process, start to finish

  1. Download the archive from the download page.
  2. Extract it with WinRAR using password 123456 to a real folder (e.g. C:\KMSPico).
  3. Add an exclusion in Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Exclusions → Add folder.
  4. Run as administrator — right-click the executable and choose Run as administrator. Activation completes automatically in under a minute.
  5. Verify under Settings → System → Activation, or with slmgr /xpr.
