Three quick ways to verify whether Windows 10 or 11 is activated — Command Prompt, Settings, and PowerShell. Takes under 30 seconds.
Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run:
> slmgr /xprShows expiry date if activated, or error if not. Run slmgr /dli for full license details.
Win + I to open Settings.> (Get-WmiObject SoftwareLicensingProduct | Where-Object {$_.LicenseStatus -eq 1}).NameReturns the licensed product name if activated. Empty output = not activated.
If Windows shows as unactivated, activate it in seconds with KMSPico or these commands:
> slmgr /ipk W269N-WFGWX-YVC9B-4J6C9-T83GX > slmgr /skms kms.windowskms.com > slmgr /ato > slmgr /xpr
Confirming your activation status takes seconds. Use whichever method you find easiest — all three report the same thing.
Open Settings → System → Activation. A green tick and "Windows is activated" means you're done; it also shows whether the licence is digital or key-based.
Open an elevated Command Prompt and run slmgr /xpr for a quick activated/expiry popup, or slmgr /dlv for full licence details including the KMS renewal date. These are part of the standard slmgr command set.
Press Win + R, type winver, and check the edition and build — useful when matching the right key. If the status shows not activated, our Windows activator guide and the error index will get you sorted.
Download the verified release and start activating Windows or Office in seconds.
