Volume editions of Office don't need a purchased product key — they use the public Generic Volume Licence Keys built for KMS activation. Office's ospp.vbs script installs the generic key and activates against a Key Management Service host, so you never enter a 25-character code. The host is the only piece a home PC lacks, and KMSPico supplies it locally.
